DRF PARTNERS WITH NIDCD'S "IT'S A NOISY PLANET" CAMPAIGN
Deafness Research Foundation is excited to announce our partnership with the National Institute on
Deafness and Other Communication Disorders' (NIDCD) campaign, "It's A Noisy Planet", in an effort to increase awareness about the cause and prevention of noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) among parents of children (ages 8 to 12).
DRF and NIDCD recognize the importance of raising awareness of the causes of, and ways to prevent, NIHL. By partnering with the "It's a Noisy Planet" campaign, DRF and NIDCD will spread the word to protect your hearing and the hearing of your children. Furthermore, the partnership will spread the message on how to recognize when hearing is at risk and ways to reduce noise exposure.
